
Veejay is a photojournalist and documentarist whose work has been featured in most local publications. He is also a regular contributor to the international wire agencies Associated Press and Agence France Presse. He has been an artist resident for Visa Pour L’Image Perpignan in France, part of the Documentary Workshop in Angkor Photo Festival and the 2008 recipient of the Ian Parry Scholarship Grant. He is a member of the Press Photographers of the Philippines and the former Vice-Chair for the Educational and Training Committee of the Philippine Center for Photojournalism. His advocacies include issues on illegal migration, youth culture, human trafficking and environmental issues.
