Jim is a director whose film Tribu won the Best Picture Award at the 2007 Cinemalaya Film Festival. The film’s hyper-realistic depiction of Tondo’s gang culture has won him the praise of audiences and critics. He has also written for various publications and worked for several years in television news. He is currently working on his film Happyland which is set to be released next year.
